Intro of the buildings:
The well designed, elegant looking skyscraper on the left is the
famous commercial Lippo Centre in Hong Kong. The small, dull,
ordinary looking building is...opps, i have no idea what building
it is. being surrounded by so many famous buildings (the building
in the photo i posted a few days ago is one too!), this little
building is just a nobody.
message behind:
in this photo, i see the lippo centre as the strong and the
little building as the weak. however the weak is now looking
up at the strong, challenging it with no fears. this is represented
by the light ray pointing up to the lippo centre. This made
up the tilte of this photo. just my imagination =) what do
you think?
about the lighting effect on the sky:
at a normal night, the effect of the light ray wouldn't stand
out so strong as it does in this picture. it does because
it was a foggy day when i took this picture. it was the water
droplets in the sky that scrattered the light in the sky.
the weather forecast said it would be foggy and so i decided
to carry my camera out and this is what i got! (this applys
to my previous posting too, just that i forgot to say it)
Noise in the picture:
the nosie level appears to be very high in this picture because
i have set the wrong ISO! i used ISO 1600 for it not because
i pueposely set it. it was because i took a picture with
ISO 1600 before i took this one. and damn! ISO setting is
not displayed on screen on 300D!! and this forgetful me forgot
to set it back to ISO 100... *sigh*
